Dawn Taylor, PsyD, LP, she/her

As a psychologist, I have dedicated most of my career to treating eating disorders. I started this journey almost 20 years ago at Melrose Center, where I am currently the manager of our inpatient residential units. At Melrose, I helped develop the first program for people with Type 1 diabetes and an eating disorder and have traveled both nationally and internationally to support the understanding of this dual diagnosis for other professionals. Currently, my passion is to create a safe and welcoming environment that supports recovery for ALL, as this illness impacts all ages, genders and ethnicities equally. Breaking down barriers to care is essential.

Outside of work, my favorite thing to do is spend time with my family—although this means something new, as my husband and I are new empty nesters. FaceTime has become my new favorite past time! Yoga, walking the lake, and pickle ball take up a bit of time now, too!
