Nancy Howe, the Director of Children's programming at NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) is coming back to Grace. After a successful program last year, Nancy Howe will return this year on Monday, April 17th to speak on warning signs in youth and young adults and then answer questions from parents, grandparents, and guardians about how to approach the young people in their lives who may be struggling with mental illness. We recognize that often there could be substance use involved which complicates matters. These conversations about mental health can be challenging and anxiety producing and so this is an opportunity for parents, grandparents, and guardians to learn how to approach these situations and conversations.
