A WINTER CONCERT in Partnership with Mental Health Connect:

The Sound Mind Project is a community choir that started in April 2022. We come together weekly to share our voices through contemporary choral literature. With our minds on our mission, music connects and supports us all. 

For many youth, it seems impossible to turn off the thoughts that cast a shadow over their already overwhelming lives. Anxiety, depression, or other challenges might feel like a constant pain that won’t go away, trapping young people and making them feel powerless. So many aren’t sure how or where to seek help—or a listening ear. 

The Sound Mind Project hopes to be a voice for these youth. Through our music and the donations we receive at our concerts, we seek to raise awareness and support for the mental health needs of youth in our communities. This year, we are partnering with Mental Health Connect, an organization which connects young people with resources to help them in their journeys.
